Hello beautiful beings I’m thrilled to welcome you to the first episode of my podcast — a dream of mine that's finally coming to life. I've had so many people reach out to me asking about crystals, manifesting, grief, being vegan, wellness, and coping with anxiety. This inspired me to create a welcoming space where you can relax and listen to my own thoughts and stories on all things spiritual. I'd love for you to feel like I'm here to support and guide you on your spiritual path. I wanna be your spiritual bestie. This will be an exciting, authentic, raw and deeply personal experience. I'd like to say a massive welcome to 2024. It's a relief to know that after navigating the stormy waters of 2023 we are here, able to share our unique stories of resilience and endurance from the past year. Despite it being a wild one, I hope that you were able to discover profound lessons and experience moments of genuine wonder and magic. I also hope that 2023 has brought you awakenings and breakthroughs, enabling you to find clarity and wisdom despite the complexities. I aimed to release my first episode on January 1st at 11:11 am, channelling this vibrant energy to you and the universe. My goal is to spark inspiration helping you live with purpose for what could be the most fulfilling year of your life!

For those who don’t know who I am, I’m Alex, an entrepreneur who founded an online crystal and wellness brand in April 2020, The crystal company. This spiritual journey began unexpectedly for me through a very traumatic experience. Myself and my youngest daughter Hunnie, who was only four years old at the time, survived a major car accident. I worked for myself in aesthetics at the time and had decided to take Hunnie to the park for my lunch break. We were just returning from the park when another driver, not wearing her glasses, hit us, and our car flipped upside down and landed on its roof. It was one of those moments like you see in films where everything goes in really slow motion, and I feared for our lives.

Paramedics arrived on the scene and couldn’t believe that we were okay, considering the state that the car was in. Miraculously, we were unharmed – which is a true testament to our guardian angels' protection. A humorous and heartwarming detail from that day involves a pizza that we had bought on the way home from the park that Hunnie was holding. During the accident, the pizza flew around the car, covering Hunnie in tomato sauce. We were left hanging upside down for a short while until I could get us free, and eventually, we were dragged out of the windows by members of the public trying to help. The first thing that Hunnie said to me was, “Mummy, my pizza!” 

That being said, it instantly reassured me because Hunnie is such a food lover (like me) that I knew that if all she was worried about was the pizza being ruined, then she was okay. And that's something that gave me so much comfort. Now, three and a half years later, Hunnie doesn't recall the accident, only the hunger from missing lunch and the ambulance ride to the hospital.

After my return to work following the accident, a regular client surprised me with a present. She gifted me a small bag of crystal tumble stones. We had previously shared conversations about my passion for crystals, spirituality, and the mystical, but I never anticipated such a gesture. At that time, I was having nightmares and suffering from PTSD from the incident and to this day, I still don't think that my client understands how much she helped me heal through that difficult time; I’m eternally grateful to her. Soon after that, I stood looking at these crystals in my hand and just felt this overwhelming surge of energy, this pure light, and it's almost as if I had this remembrance flood back from when I was five years old and walking around crystal events with my dad. It felt familiar. It felt warm and safe. At that moment, my path was illuminated, and the crystal company was born. I knew that helping others heal was my destiny/chosen path.

As I briefly touched upon, my relationship with crystals started when I was just five years old; I’m 35 now. It’s taken me years to realise that this passion could evolve into a full-time business. 

However, being caught in the whirlwind of a fast-paced life and programmed by society, I doubted the potential success of my dream. How mistaken I was! Covid-19 prompted a collective shift towards a more holistic lifestyle, with many seeking natural approaches to mental health and healing. This shift facilitated space for spiritual awakenings and empowered us to achieve our dreams and personal growth.

Today, I am grateful for the opportunity this has given me to connect with people from 59 different countries, enabling me to contribute to healing globally through the power of crystals.  I put £500 into my brand nearly four years ago, and I  now run a 6 figure business, like what?! Hearing that out loud just gives me goosebumps, and I can’t believe we’ve come so far in such a short time. I hope that this empowers you and gives you motivation! I am so grateful.

Reflecting on the journey, I remember the early days filled with humble beginnings - managing countless orders from my living room, surrounded by boxes and tape. At the same time, my children navigated through the loving chaos after school. Our growth has since led us to have our own workspace. This shift has generously freed up my time, enabling me to step away from the busyness of hosting live sales on Instagram and explore new avenues like this podcast, plus some very new and exciting things that will be happening this year! Which is another way to reach out and support healing across the world.

Connecting with more of you through this medium is such a blessing.

This journey has taught me a powerful lesson: no matter how huge your goals may seem or how insignificant you might sometimes feel eel, anything is attainable with the right mindset and intention. You can achieve anything!

In 2024, we find ourselves at a pivotal moment where integrating our physical, spiritual, and emotional health is more crucial than ever. It's a time calling us to apply the tools and wisdom we've gathered, transforming knowledge into action. This year is not just about being resilient; it's about thriving with a newfound strength. Each challenge we encounter is an opportunity to test our skills, to nurture our bodies, minds, and souls, and to deepen our understanding of ourselves and the world around us. As we actively engage in practices promoting our holistic well-being, we are building a more robust and more adaptable foundation. This is a journey of empowerment, where each step we take towards balancing our health in all aspects fortifies us for whatever lies ahead, making 2024 a year of unparalleled growth and grit. I hope you feel stronger than ever, my loves. 

My business goals and intentions for 2024 are, without giving anything away too early, for you to expect to see more from me on healing in a  different way. Connecting with you dear souls more personally and evolving our ever-growing business. I feel so confident that 2024 will be my year of rising and coming into my power, and I'm bringing you along for the ride with me, which I am so excited about.

My personal goals and vision are to deepen my knowledge of healing and to stay committed to nurturing my well-being through cooking nutritious meals and dedicating time to meditation. At home, I enjoy practising yoga and morning ice baths. Dedication to self-care makes me feel fulfilled and gives me a sense of liberation. It's empowering to realise how self-love and persistence can lead to feeling like the divine goddess we are! This year, I embrace this energy wholeheartedly.

Challenges may come, but staying aligned and trusting the universe's support is vital. Being guided by our intuition and inner wisdom. My hope for you in 2024 is to pursue your dreams relentlessly. Don't pause your aspirations or creativity; live the life you envision. Remember, the universe is with you. It’s time to spread your wings.
