Our focus will be on understanding how these natural treasures can serve as supportive guides, leading us to inner calm and stability.


Id like to begin by telling you guys a significant emotional event that Iv encountered with anxiety. Going back a few years, out of nowhere I started having these strong heart palpitations when I was out shopping with my family, they were happening every few minutes, they would come and go but they were not going away. I had this overwhelming sense of worry within me and I thought “what if this is a heart attack?”

This fear made me feel like I had to leave the shopping centre immediately and as we drove away they got worse and worse and my anxiety escalated into a full-blown panic attack, unlike anything I had experienced before.

I was so gripped by the belief that I was having a heart attack that I told Terry my husband to pull the car over on the side of a super a busy road. I was in a state of utter distress, shaking and desperately trying to find relief by tucking my head into my knees and leaning back to stretch and open my lungs to catch my breath but nothing was helping. We were parked outside a Harvester restaurant and two staff members (who were such lovely ladies) saw what was going on and offered me some water and called for an ambulance.

Overwhelmed by fear and sobbing uncontrollably, I clutched at my heart, and started telling my girls how much I loved them incase it was my final moments. Honestly I was that scared that I started saying my goodbyes.

The sensations of dizziness, the struggle for air, and the dread of my heart giving out were overpowering. Within 10 minutes, the ambulance arrived and the paramedics conducted thorough tests, reassuring me that my vital signs, including blood pressure and other statistics, were normal. They explained that what I was experiencing was most likely a panic attack. I was in shock to hear this; I couldn't fathom that a panic attack could be this intense. Id had some small panic attacks previously but this was completely different.

The paramedic comforted me by saying, "Don't feel silly, panic attacks can feel exactly the same as a heart attack. We see this quite often." His words made me feel so much better about the situation. Soon after my breathing started to ease. They advised that I was okay to go home and rest. That day, the aftermath of the panic attack left me completely drained, and I slept through to the next morning.


After this happened I knew that I never ever wanted to feel that again, and this is where I introduced Pink Lithium to my crystal collection. Pink Lithium always and forever will be my soul crystal. It’s the one crystal that I carry around with me daily incase of another attack. I have one in my handbag, one in my car and one in my office; and I truly believe that Pink Lithium has been my cure to my anxiety and to this day I have never had a severe panic attack like that. Don't get me wrong I still get anxious at times but it's completely manageable in comparison to what I experienced.


Lithium is a type of mineral that has calming and stress-relieving properties. Its is often used for its ability to ease anxiety and stabilise moods.

Lithium is the same element found in certain medications prescribed by doctors and used for mental health conditions such as antidepressants. In medical terms, Lithium is used to balance certain chemicals in the brain, helping to stabilise mood and manage conditions like bipolar disorder. Ensuring that all the brain chemicals are playing in harmony and that the heart is stable. I like to hold my crystals in my hand or place them on my heart when I feel stress/panic and it makes me feel grounded, less overwhelmed and reminds me to take long deep breaths. Honestly it’s my goto for overwhelming situations, I love it SO much and I’m so grateful that were together in my life journey.


Natural healing with Lithium is fantastic for:

Emotional Balance: Pink lithium is used in small doses in some medical treatments for mood disorders. In a spiritual context, it brings emotional balance and help soothe anxious feelings.


Calming Energy Many people find the colour and texture of pink lithium to be calming. Holding or being near the stone is said to induce a sense of peace and tranquility, which can be beneficial for someone experiencing anxiety. Lithium doesn’t only grow pink in colour, it can also be grey, green, white and silver!


Chakra Alignment: In spiritual practices, Pink Lithium is associated with the heart and third eye chakras. It's believed to help in opening up these chakras, promoting love, self-acceptance, and clear thinking, all of which can counteract feelings of anxiety.


Meditation Aid: Using Pink Lithium during meditation is thought to deepen the meditative state, making it easier to achieve mental clarity and emotional stability. This can be particularly helpful for those who meditate as a way to manage anxiety.


Grounding: Aids in connecting with the present moment and reducing worries about the future, a common source of anxiety.


But Lithium isn’t the only crystal that helps with anxiety!

Lepidolite: This gorgeous crystal actually contains Lithium so it holds all of the same healing benefits as well as opening the mind and connecting to out higher self.


Amethyst: Known for its beautiful rich purple colour, Amethyst is incredibly calming. It helps to help soothe the mind and emotions, bringing a sense of tranquility that can be very helpful 

anxiety.


Rose Quartz: My first ever crystal. This pale pink crystal is all about love and peace. It helps open up the heart, allowing you to feel more compassion and understanding towards yourself and others, which can be soothing during anxious times.


Black Tourmaline: Is known for its protective qualities, it’s often used for stabilising and grounding. It Helps dispel negative energy and create a shield around the wearer, providing a sense of security that can be beneficial in managing panic attacks.


Citrine: So bright and so cheerful, Golden natural Citrine promotes joy and optimism. Helps clear the mind and encourages positive thinking, which can be a great aid in battling anxious thoughts.


Selenite: This crystal is often associated with purity and light, But it has a gentle energy that can bring mental clarity, helping to calm and soothe the mind during moments of overwhelm.


When using crystals for anxiety and panic, it's important to remember that they should complement but not replace professional medical advice and treatment. They can be used as a part of a holistic approach to well-being, alongside other practices like meditation, yoga, and therapy.

You can carry these crystals with you, keep them in your living space, or even meditate with them, depending on what feels right for you. The key is to focus on the intention behind their use and allow yourself to be open to the sense of serenity and balance that they bring into your life.


Anxiety doesn't always manifest as a full-blown panic attack; it can emerge through subtle, everyday occurrences that seem monumental at that moment. Sometimes, it's a persistent nervous sensation in your stomach, possibly leading to digestive issues, or you might experience dizziness, shortness of breath, stress, or even a tingling sensation.

Even I face such moments, with a recent example being just yesterday. For some reason, I felt an overwhelming anxiety about doing the school run. The idea of being seen or having to engage in small talk was so daunting that I wished to remain unseen and lock myself away at home and work. I even went as far as to reroute my way from the school to avoid encountering my neighbors. Ironically, when I took a deliberately longer path to avoid people, I ended up facing a group of school moms right outside my house. It was a humorous reminder that no matter the detours we take, confronting our fears is inevitable. A simple greeting was all it took to ease into my routine, yet the anticipation had been paralyzing. At times, my anxiety leads me to avoid answering calls from friends and family, which is out of character for me. This avoidance is a temporary measure until I feel more like myself again. Feeling this way is a part of life, and while it may seem isolating, especially to those who don’t experience anxiety, self-care and staying present are key to managing these feelings. It's important to remember that worrying only contributes to unnecessary stress. With the right mindset and the support of our crystals, we can navigate these feelings more smoothly.


So how can we use Crystals to help ourselves from anxiety. We can carry them around in our pocket, we can meditate with them, or maybe the most easiest way is to wear them as jewellery. 

Remember, while crystals can provide support they are most effective when used in conjunction with other practices such as meditation and mindfulness. In moments of anxiety, remember that you're part of a larger whole. Your experiences, though uniquely yours, echo the human condition—a journey through life's ebbs and flows, marked by moments of struggle and triumph. By not suffering alone, you affirm the collective journey of growth, healing, and connection. You remind yourself and others that, even in our darkest moments, we can find light in the shared spaces of our human experience.
